Gaining confidence that they had an understanding of Rommel's intentions and dispositions, 8th Army made plans to strike back at the DAK. 21st Panzer, probing east of the Gazala line, made contact with the 2nd Armoured Division. Rather than wait for an attack, the DAK immediately struck the enemy, hoping to disrupt them before they could react.
Objectives: Your company holds the high ground; at least a company of tanks with mechanized infantry have been caught moving east below you. Act quickly before they have time to react effectively. Destroy them and move west to your objective.
